Lula Mae Johnson Groves
Lula Mae Johnson Groves, 76, died Friday, August 30, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born August 17, 1937 to the late Edward and Estell Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Groves, her daughter, Tina Payne and her son Robert Coffey.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna Harbin Drew, and Patricia Zinkan Charles, two sons, John Payne, and Tommy Payne Alana, her brother, Johnny Johnson, six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, her aunt, Ocie Howard, and daughter-in-law, Mickey Coffey.
Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Fox and Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Fox and Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.
Burial: Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
